Most families are doing it from out of town, on a deadline from a realtor or a lawyer, and they are tired. We have done a great many of them. You tell us what to set aside - photographs, papers, the things you are keeping - and we clear everything else, room by room, without rushing you.
Usable furniture, kitchenware and clothing go to charity where we can place them; we tell you what was donated. Paper, metal and electronics are sorted for recycling. Whatever is left goes to a licensed disposal site. At the end the home is broom-clean and ready for the listing photos.
We work directly with executors, realtors and property managers, and we can be the ones to meet the locksmith or the realtor on site if you cannot be there. Photos of the main rooms are enough to start; a walk-through is free if you would rather we see it first.

We live out of province. Can you do this without us there?
Yes. We handle estates for families out of town regularly - a video walk-through to start, photos as we go, and a locked door at the end.
What if we find something that should not have been thrown out?
We set aside anything personal we come across - photographs, documents, jewellery, cash - and hand it to you. We would rather ask than guess.
Do you donate what can be reused?
Yes. Furniture, kitchenware and clothing in usable condition go to charity where we can place them, and we tell you what went where.
